BMO Global Asset Management has appointed a new director of the firm's institutional business in the Asia Pacific.

Jonathan Goll has been named for the position.

Mr Goll will be responsible for institutional sales in the Australian, New Zealand and South-East Asian markets.

BMO's managing director and head of Asia Pacific, Ravi Sriskandarajah said: “Jonathan’s experience with institutional clients and business development make him a great fit for this role and a welcome addition to our team.

Mr Goll was previously a senior client relationship manager with Grantham, Mayo, van Otterloo & Co. He has also held positions with Towers Perrin.
