Former credit strategist at Aquasia, Mark Bayley, will take on the role of FIIG's head of credit strategy and research.
Mr Bayley will be responsible for managing the firm’s research team and providing macroeconomic commentary and credit analysis.
“Mark is a very experienced fixed income specialist with experience both on the sell side as an analyst and on the buy side as a fund manager, which makes him ideally suited to providing actionable insights to our clients,” FIGG chief executive Mark Paton said.
“We look forward to Mark’s contribution in expanding the depth and range of our credit research.”
Mr Bayley said he is “delighted” to be joining FIIG.
“I have admired FIIG’s work for a long time and share their goal of helping more Australian companies and investors participate in the bond market,” he said.
Mr Bayley has held positions at ABN AMRO and JP Morgan.
