OnDeck chief executive Cameron Poolman said Mr Ahmad was a “natural fit”, having played a key role in the referral partnership between OnDeck and CBA.
Mr Ahmad makes the move after nine years at CBA where he was most recently a director of corporate and commercial finance.
In his new position as head of operations at OnDeck, Mr Ahmed will be joined by four new hires – Safaa Darwich, Alex Khalil, Gregory Vetsikas and Ikram Sadee.
