Mr Braun was previously associate director at Hastings Fund Management, and brings close to a decade’s worth of experience to his new role, where he will be managing debt investments for institutional investors
Rich Randall, whom IFM named global head of debt investments earlier this year, commented that Mr Braun’s appointment demonstrated “ongoing commitment” to the North American market.
“Joseph’s appointment strengthens our experience and capabilities in North America as we look for infrastructure debt opportunities to address the needs and goals of our investors,” he said.
Mr Braun has also worked with RBC Capital Markets and BBVA, and focused on North American markets in these roles as well.
He will be based in IFM’s New York offices and will report directly to Mr Randall.
