Ms Bart – who started her career at Mallesons Stephen Jaques – has extensive experience across a number of industries through her various board appointments, including ANZ Trustees, the South Australian Film Corporation and the ABC.
ME Bank chairman Ken Hodgson welcomed the appointment, saying Ms Bart’s wealth of experience will make her a “tremendous addition to the board”.
“She is an outstanding leader and her breadth and depth of experience will assist the growth of the bank in future years,” he said.

Ms Bart also holds non-executive director roles with Ted X Sydney, Football Federation Australia and SG Fleet.
The appointment was ratified during ME Bank’s board meeting which was held in Melbourne in June.
