Ms Radley was previously part of the legal team overseeing more than 200 managed investment schemes for Equity Trustees, and commented that this experience would position her well for the new role.
“I’m really looking forward to playing an important role in such an exciting time for the business.
“My experience in the managed investment schemes space, as well as broader corporate and commercial legal matters, will stand me in good stead for the challenges ahead of us,” Ms Radley said.
Contango chief investment officer George Boubouras, who earlier this year led a management buyout of the company, said the appointment would help maintain a high level of regulatory compliance.
“Skye’s appointment adds another exceptional level of experience to our team, and her expertise will help ensure we’re on the right path, as we look to grow the business into one of Australia’s pre-eminent fund managers,” he said.
The Melbourne-based company also intends to list on the ASX in September 2016.
