Software provider Progress, which services businesses that include BNP Paribas, has named Trevor Rogers as its new director of partner and alliance for Australia and New Zealand.

Mr Rogers will be responsible for the leadership and direction of the company’s channel partner and alliance division, reporting to Progress Australia and New Zealand managing director Craig Law.

“The appointment of Trevor is a great coup for the Progress channel and partner development efforts in the region," Mr Law said.

"Trevor’s passion and reputation as a partner evangelist precedes him. Progress will benefit from his proven success in all aspects of driving a successful partner ecosystem."

Mr Rogers was formerly CA Technologies’ partner director, and has 30 years’ experience in establishing indirect sales channels. He has also held roles with Oracle and HP Australia, spending a full decade at the latter.

He said he is excited to be joining Progress and to helping the business build momentum in Australia and New Zealand: “Partners are an integral component to the future growth and success of Progress as we enable companies to transform their businesses, and I will work collaboratively with them to engage their unique capabilities and skillsets to ensure a consistent business model that delivers a common ground of mutual success,” Mr Rogers said.
