Mr Lloyd was formerly KPMG’s principal of direct investments, and brings over 15 years’ experience in infrastructure portfolios to his new role with Infrastructure Capital Group (ICG).
“Ed’s insights and knowledge about maximising value and growth from infrastructure assets will be key in delivering bespoke mandates that suit investor preferences for asset control and exposure,” commented ICG chief executive Tom Laidlaw.
Before taking up his role at KPMG, Mr Lloyd worked in the infrastructure investment division of Colonial First State Global Asset Management, both in Sydney and London, and has also held roles with Hastings Fund Management and Macquarie.
Mr Laidlaw added that ICG has also appointed two new associates to the investment team, working across both the diversified and energy infrastructure trust funds in both Sydney and Melbourne.
