Prior to his new appointment, Mr Langeveldt spent eight years working at AMP Capital, were he held various titles including director of global marketing and communications.
Mr Langeveldt has also worked at Commonwealth Bank, stockland, and Cuscal Limited.
Qantas Super chief executive Michael Clancy said Mr Langeveldt was a “stand-out candidate” for the role and would add “great value” to the business.
“Stuart is a highly talented executive, with great depth of experience, and he will help Qantas Super rise to the significant challenge of helping our members be confident in their financial future so they can enjoy retirement,” Mr Clancy said.
Mr Clancy said Mr Langeveldt had extensive experience and was a capable leader, and would help the business implement new member experience services.
“Over the next three years, we’ll be rolling out initiatives that will connect us more personally and regularly with our members. We’re very pleased that Stuart will be a key driver of these initiatives.”
Mr Langeveldt will commence in his new role on 13 March 2017, replacing outgoing head of member experience Dimity MacDonald, who resigned from her role in December last year.
