Ms Bredberg was previously new business manager with BT Financial, and has held a number of leadership roles with firms such as Russell Investments and Macquarie Bank prior to commencing in the new role.
Joining Ms Bredberg in the distributions team will be Duncan Knight, who has been appointed as the firm’s national head of key accounts.
The two new appointments “are reflective of the increasing demand for the Wingate Global Equity Fund” said Wingate Asset Management chief executive Jamie Mead.
“Duncan and Jeannie are both recognised as industry experts in their respective specialities and bring complementary multi-decade experience to the Wingate Asset Management team,” he said.
Both Ms Bredberg and Mr Knight will be based in Melbourne, reporting to Mr Mead.
