New structured finance manager at Equity Trustees

Financial services firm Equity Trustees has added James Connell to its team in the role of senior manager of structured finance – corporate trusts.

Formerly vice president of Deutsche Bank’s transaction management group  Asia, Mr Connell brings “significant expertise” in corporate trusteeship and experience as a lawyer to the role.

Equity Trustees executive general manager of corporate trustee services Harvey Kalman said Mr Connell will be an “important addition” to the team.

“We will be rounding out our services to include Debenture/Note Trusteeship, Security Trusteeship, Escrow Agency, Property and Special Custody, as well as other CTS and bespoke corporate trust transactions,” Mr Kalman said.

Mr Connell will commence in his new role on 8 May.
