IRESS has announced that the current managing director of superannuation Stephen Mackley will retire at the end of September 2017.
He will be replaced by current general manager of consulting, superannuation, Jeff Hall.
Mr Mackley was previously the chief executive of Financial Synergy (which was acquired by IRESS in September 2016) for 12 years across two periods.
IRESS chief executive Andrew Walsh thanked Mr Mackley, adding he had ensured a "smooth integration" for IRESS clients and their members.
"I congratulate Jeff on his appointment. Jeff was most recently the general manager of consulting, superannuation and has worked closely with Stephen over the last seven years. His appointment ensures a smooth transition for the team and our clients," Mr Walsh said.
"Jeff has more than 25 years’ experience in the wealth management industry and is well positioned to support clients’ continued growth and success in superannuation. He has extensive industry experience, deep client relationships and a track record of driving innovation."
