Gabrielle Bell will join the board of VicSuper as the fund's new employer director, replacing Greg Cook who departed in July 2017.
Ms Bell is a corporate lawyer who specialises in corporate advisory (including corporate governance), M&A and capital markets.
She is currently a director of South East Water Corporation, V/Line Corporation and director and company secretary of InLife Independent Living.
Ms Bell is also a member of the VicSuper's investment and merger steering committees.
VicSuper chief executive Michael Dundon said, "Gabrielle’s breadth of experience as a director and a corporate lawyer provides an excellent complement to the skills of the current VicSuper directors.
"We look forward to working closely with her as we continue to deliver on our growth agenda, including merger opportunities."
