Sudhanshu Garg has been assigned as the company’s institutional director and will be introducing AMP Capital’s real assets capabilities to clients in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
Prior to his appointment, Mr Garg has held several banking and financial services roles, such as the senior vice president role at the Royal Bank of Scotland and senior management roles at ABN Amro in Dubai.
Mr Garg joined other AMP Capital executives at the opening of the new office in Dubai. The company’s Dubai office is located within the Dubai International Financial Centre Authority (DIFC) and is expected to give the firm access to the Middle East.
AMP Capital north west region director Boe Pahari said, “AMP Capital has built strong relationships with clients in the GCC over many years and the appointment of Sudhanshu, with his strong financial services experience and excellent local networks, provides us the opportunity to further cement our presence in this important and fast-growing region.”
Commenting on the company’s new office, Mr Pahari added, “As AMP Capital continues its global expansion strategy, it makes sense to have an on-the-ground presence in Dubai, which is gateway to the Middle East.”
