Ben Daly has been appointed to the institutional-focusing role of relationship manager, while Richard Li has been named senior product manager, according to a statement.
Mr Daly has 17 years’ experience in both major and boutique financial institutions, and prior to his appointment was an executive director at Goldman Sachs for four years from 2013.
Mr Li carries 13 years’ experience in wealth management product development to his new position from previous roles at BlackRock, Barclays Global Investors and AMP Capital, and will develop and manage T. Rowe Price’s offerings in the Australian market.
T. Rowe Price director and head of relationship management, Australia and New Zealand Murray Brewer said the company had seen greater demand “across the vast majority of equity and fixed income portfolios from institutional and wholesale clients who seek selective exposure to assets in the market”.
“Our expanded team is well placed to work with clients to construct or enhance portfolios with quality investments that target growth and downside risk management from across the global spectrum,” Mr Brewer said.
“We remain intensely focused on taking our operation to the next level by serving clients via a greater number of solutions that seek to deliver solid risk adjusted returns.”
Both Mr Daly and Mr Li commenced in their positions earlier this year.
