Mr Voskresensky makes the move to Copia from his former role of general manager for finance at Mutual Trust, where he spent more than 12 years developing experience in financial analysis, operations, governance and risk management.
Copia chief executive Sam Baillieu said the firm was prepared to add additional resources following “a strong 2017”.
“Michael brings a wealth of experience within financial services and will help to bolster our finance function and executive team during this time of business growth,” Mr Baillieu said.
“The Australian investment management industry is due for a shake-up and boutique fund managers with unique capabilities will play an important role in helping investors achieve their goals.
“Copia is well placed and resourced to partner strategically with existing and new boutique managers,” Mr Baillieu said.
