Mr Ivers will work with Prime Value’s equities team and take responsibility for its emerging opportunities fund with portfolio manager ST Wong.

Commenting on the appointment, Prime Value chief executive Yak Yong Quek said Mr Ivers had developed a “strong track record”.

“He brings a good understanding of business strategy and finance, having worked for several companies in the IT and finance sectors in Europe,” Mr Quek said.

“We think that combination of corporate experience and financial analysis is well suited to our approach.”
