In a statement, Perpetual Corporate Trust announced the new role would see Ms Riggio assume responsibility for several aspects of the business, such as custody, wholesale trustee, responsible entity services, and investment management for managed investment trusts.
She will also oversee Perpetual’s Singapore business, the statement said.
Perpetual Corporate Trust group executive Chris Green noted Ms Riggio’s experience in corporate trust that spanned over 20 years, adding that she had “demonstrated both skill and foresight in evolving the management services business over the past two years”.
“We are delighted to make an internal appointment of Vicki’s calibre. Her leadership and dedication to providing a first-class experience for our clients will continue to benefit our entire business,” Mr Green said.
Ms Riggio has been with Perpetual since 1997 and held account executive and senior manager roles until 2006.
Between 2007 and 2013, she occupied the role of business unit manager, before moving into acting general manager in mid-2013.
From 2014 to 2016, Ms Riggio was head of wholesale trustee at Perpetual, where she delivered trustee services to portfolios of over $40 billion.
