Former UBS Global Asset Management managing director and Equipsuper chief executive Danielle Press has joined the board of robo-adviser Six Park.

In a statement, Six Park announced that the addition of Ms Press to the board represented Six Park’s first female board member.

For 17 years from 1993 to 2010, Ms Press was at UBS Global Asset Management where she worked across Sydney, Singapore and Chicago and departed as a managing director and deputy head of Australia.

She then held the role of chief executive at Equipsuper for six years until 2016, where she then moved to head up advice firm Myer Family Company.

At Myer Family Company, Ms Press leads the firm’s development across its trustee services, tax and accounting, investment management and governmance, philanthropy and family succession businesses.

Commenting on the appointment, Six Park chief executive Patrick Garrett said Ms Press brought “a wealth of asset management experience and judgment” to the company.

“Danielle has a very nuanced understanding of how robo-advice complements the wealth management landscape in Australia, and her expertise brings even greater depth to our board of directors,” Mr Garrett said.
