The research centre to be based in London will be led by former iShares director Marco Corsi who has also held roles at Barclays, Merill Lynch and Decura.
Mr Corsi will lead the team to develop ETF-related research, perspectives and content to educate institutional investors, retail intermediaries and self-directed investors.
Vanguard’s head of International ETFs Axel Lomholt said Vanguard was committed to research critical ETF issues to produce useful perspectives for their audience.

The Global ETF research centre joins the Investment Strategy Group and Investor Research centre to form Vanguard’s worldwide research groups.
