Lili Barron has joined the team as NSW business development manager and will be joined by new hires in specialist lending credit manager and commercial underwriter roles.
Better Choice’s executive director Allan Savins said that Ms Barron’s appointment would provide a boost to the sales and support team.
“Lili has more than 13 years’ experience in financial services and has served as a state manager/relationship manager with Suncorp, Pepper, ALI Group, Australian First Mortgage and Resimac.
“Lili brings highly valued industry knowledge and experience to Better Choice and we look forward to her contribution.”
Mr Savins said the group had been recruiting in several other important roles in an effort to improve efficiency.
“Our business is moving towards having dedicated experts in the specialist and commercial underwriting team to improve efficiency,” he said.
Among those roles was the previously mentioned commercial underwriter but also a new business analyst to bolster the team said Mr Savins.
“We’ve also recruited a Business Analyst to bolster the business improvement team along with another four loans processors in an effort to continue to deliver on our service level agreements despite exponential growth.”
The hires would prepare the mortgage lender for growth, said Mr Savins, and enhance its offering.
“We’re experiencing high demand from brokers who want a lender who can provide genuine product solutions for their clients in a faster timeframe,” he said.
