In the new position, Ms Elliott is held responsible for marketing technology and digital media, digital experience optimisation, marketing strategy and partnerships, and brand marketing and sponsorships.
Citi said it will also move its market and customer insights function to be part of Ms Elliott’s responsibilities.
She joined Citi in 2015 as head of acquisition marketing for the bank’s wealth management division before going on to lead acquisition for the bank’s credit cards and personal lending business.
Prior to Citi, Ms Elliott was an associate director at Macquarie, responsible for marketing to the bank’s retail and institutional clients.
