Amelia Kennedy will step into the newly created role, with responsibility for managing relationships with institutional clients and consultants. She was previously the head of research and governance at ANZ private banking and advice.
“Amelia’s experience and knowledge of the Australian market for investment services will be crucial for Wasatch’s growth in the strategically important Asia-Pacific region,” said Eric Bergeson, president of Wasatch. “She will build on Wasatch’s successful platform in Australia, which has been due to the immense efforts of our longstanding distribution partner, Terrain Placement Services.”
Wasatch has significantly increased its footprint in the APAC region in recent years, with $788 million in assets under management for Australian clients. Half of its total $33.2 billion in AUM is invested in dedicated global and ex-US strategies.
