Victorian Funds Management CEO joins ING board

The chief of Victorian Funds Management Corporation has taken a seat on ING Australia’s board of directors.

Lisa Gray has become a non-executive director on the bank’s board. 

Previously, Ms Gray has held executive roles across MLC, NAB, Plum Financial Services (a joint venture between MLC and Vanguard which provided superannuation solutions to medium to large super funds) and AXA. 

At NAB, she held a range of positions including group executive, enterprise services and transformation; group executive, personal banking and chief operating officer of retail banking Australia.

Ms Gray was also CEO of wealth protection (insurance at MLC) and managing director and CEO of Plum Financial Services. Her last role at AXA was general manager, marketing and subsidiaries, before she departed from the company in 1998. 

She has held her current role as CEO for the Victorian state investment manager since 2016. Ms Gray is also a member of networking group Chief Executive Women.
