Penelope Butcher will be commencing in the role from February, having previously been a managing director with Morgan Stanley in London, where she led the firm’s European and global transport research team from 2012.
Ms Butcher originally joined the company in 1999 as a member of the telecoms, internet and media research team.
Joseph Lore, Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Brisbane state manager commented the appointment underscores the company’s commitment to the greater Queensland market.

“We see opportunities to continue to expand our Brisbane office and full service wealth management offering for clients in 2021.”
Morgan Stanley’s wealth business has more than 100 advisers in Australia, managing $30 billion in wealth management client assets and five branches across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.
