Marc Giuffrida has taken the role, with the group reporting significant demand from both local and international investors.
In the newly created position Mr Giuffrida will lead the capital raising efforts of Fortius and be held responsible for developing strategic partnerships with sophisticated investors, including institutional investors and wealth managers.
Mr Giuffrida has over 25 years’ experience in the real estate sector across Asia and Australia. He was most recently head of international capital, Australia and New Zealand with CBREs Capital Markets Group, where he was involved in more than $6 billion worth of real estate transactions.
Previously, he was managing director, capital transactions Asia at Knight Frank.
Sam Spoats, chief executive of Fortius commented: “Marc’s appointment is hugely exciting for the Fortius Group.
“We have known Marc for many years and have appreciated his wealth of experience and proven track record, particularly in engaging offshore capital, this will help support and drive the next phase of growth for the group.”
Fortius will also hit its 30th anniversary later in the year.
