In a statement, Saxo said it had appointed Camilla Dahl Hansen to the role of chief Saxo experience officer.
Ms Dahl Hansen had joined the bank in April as chief operating officer within its Saxo experience office, which is “mandated with constantly improving the personalised experience spanning all the clients’ touchpoints through the entire lifecycle with Saxo Bank”, the company said.
Ms Dahl Hansen has been in senior leadership roles at Danske Bank for 13 years prior to her appointment at Saxo, and had also worked at consulting firm McKinsey & Co.
Saxo said her work in her new role would directly benefit Australian subsidiary Saxo Markets, which saw a 56 per cent increase in its trading client base and 114 per cent increase in new clients in 2020.
“We are proud to welcome Camilla Dahl Hansen to Saxo Bank’s executive team where she will drive a strong focus on constantly improving the client experience – what we refer to as the Saxo experience,” Saxo chief executive Kim Fournais said.
“Saxo Bank is on an exciting and ambitious journey as we grow our business and serve more clients than ever before. Putting our clients first in everything we do is crucial to our future success, and we need to constantly evolve and improve.”
“I am both proud and thrilled to take on this position. Saxo Bank has from the outset focused on leveraging technology to disrupt the industry and bring better platforms, products, and services to investors,” Ms Dahl Hansen said.
“During my time with Saxo Bank, I have been deeply impressed with the passion and entrepreneurial spirit of my dedicated colleagues across the bank. We have many exciting projects ahead and ensuring that we always listen to our clients and their needs is at the heart of it all.”
