Anthony Lane started with the company on Monday, moving on from MLC where he worked as chief risk officer and COO.
Prior to working at MLC, Mr Lane held a number of senior roles at Westpac, BT and Mercer.
Mr Lane worked at Mercer for almost 15 years out of Sydney and London, where he served as an investments lawyer and consultant to institutional investors before being promoted to COO for its investment business in Asia Pacific.

Mr Lane would eventually be appointed as Mercer’s global COO.
