On Tuesday, the wholesale broker confirmed Paul Williams will make the switch from BT where he worked as head of risk and governance – platforms, investments and operations.
Prior to his time at BT, Mr Williams held senior roles at Commonwealth Bank, UBS and St.George.
“As an established wholesale broker in the Australian market, having a robust risk approach is key for AUSIEX. We are delighted to have someone of Paul’s calibre join us to lead our strong risk and compliance team,” AUSIEX chief executive, Eric Blewitt, said.
“Paul is a highly effective risk manager with unrivalled expertise in developing risk frameworks and policies, and managing regulatory compliance engagement on behalf of large, diverse financial institutions.”
