Local workforce intelligence platform Reejig has announced a boost to its credentials with the appointment of former Westpac head as its chairman, as it pushes for global growth.
The appointment of Mr Hartzer, who is expected to work closely with Reejig’s CEO Siobhan Savage to support its rapid scaleup and international expansion, follows a recently completed $6 million Series A capital raise for the company.
The intelligence platform currently boasts a strong and growing client base including Woolworths, KPMG, Transport for NSW, John Holland, MYOB, APM and UTS.
Mr Hartzer’s appointment is expected to position the company for international success as it’s pulled “organically” into US and UK markets.
“His personal experience in creating workforce agility within a major corporation, coupled with his commitment to helping companies build diverse, highly engaged teams, will strengthen Reejig as we work to create a better future of work: one without bias, where everyone thrives at work,” Mr Savage said.
Former Westpac managing director and CEO, Mr Hartzer currently serves as chairman of Beforepay, a Sydney-based fintech startup, and as a senior advisor to Quantium and Sayers Group.
Reflecting on his appointment, Mr Hartzer referred to Reejig as “a gamechanger for large organisations as they seek to solve workforce agility”.
“The move towards organisational agility is here to stay. Many large companies are adopting agile strategies and putting in place agile team structures, processes and technology. But to maximise outcomes, companies need new tools that help them find, move, reskill and engage their talent,” said Mr Hartzer.
Reejig was founded in 2019 and uses audited ethical AI to allow enterprise businesses to make smart and informed decisions around talent.
