GSFM appoints new product manager

The firm has recruited a product manager from BT Financial Group.

GSFM has announced the appointment of Natasja Liddell to the newly created role of product manager, which follows increased investor demand.

Ms Liddell has over 22 years of experience in Australia and Europe and joins GSFM from BT Financial Group, where she was the senior product manager for the firm’s investment funds division.

She formerly held a range of product manager roles across managed accounts and corporate super and also in compliance at Macquarie Group, AMP and Wilson HTM.

Prior to relocating to Australia, Ms Liddell worked at the financial institutions ING IM and ABN AMRO in The Netherlands. She holds a master’s degree in economics and finance from Maastricht University and a diploma of financial planning from Kaplan Professional.

GSFM CEO Damien McIntyre said Ms Liddell’s knowledge, qualifications and experience meant she was ideally suited to the role, in which her responsibilities will include assisting in the development of new investment options.

“She has a strong and well-connected network in Australia, which will similarly enable her to assist the BDM team in their activity nationally,” said Mr McIntyre.

“Her local experience also means she is well-versed in market requirements and the regulatory landscape. She will be well placed to add value to all parts of the GSFM business and to work with all stakeholders.”

Ms Liddell will be based in Sydney and report to GSFM’s COO, Peter Nichols.

In September, GSFM announced the appointment of a key account manager to their Sydney office.
