New additions confirmed for Companies Auditors Disciplinary Board

Three new appointments have been confirmed.

The Albanese government has announced three new appointments to the Companies Auditors Disciplinary Board (CADB).

Inge Kindermann will join the disciplinary board — which receives and reviews applications made to it by ASIC and APRA in respect of the conduct of registered company auditors — as a part-time deputy chairperson.

Ms Kindermann is the current head of legal, lending services at ANZ and will bring her extensive experience in restructuring, corporations, and insolvency law to the CADB.

Meanwhile, Naomi Rule and Tony Marks have been appointed as business members, each for a three-year period.

Ms Rule is the current chief financial officer of Seeing Machines and non-executive director at Clark Group, while Mr Marks works as the head of operations and company secretary at Medicines Australia.

“These appointments will continue providing the high level of skills and experience available to the CADB, to help ensure that the key sectors of our economy are effectively regulated,” the government said in a statement.
