Salter Brothers has announced the appointment of Caterina Nesci as its new director of brand and marketing to support the firm’s strategic growth initiatives across Asia-Pacific.
Nesci brings more than two decades of experience in strategic marketing to the role, having lived and worked in Australia, London, Hong Kong, and Italy.
Recent roles include head of marketing and communications as well as director of ESG and international partnerships at La Trobe Financial, where she served more than 12 years.
According to Salter Brothers, Nesci played a role in La Trobe growing from $1.2 billion to more than $16 billion in assets under management.
Managing director Paul Salter welcomed the new appointment, saying it would “support our growth plans in our key markets and sectors, where Caterina already has a demonstrable track record”.
Commenting on the announcement, Nesci said she is pleased to join the company at a time of potential growth and opportunity in the broader APAC region.
“I very much look forward to assisting the company build its brand and market position as a leading global fund manager in alternative investments,” she said.
Taking to LinkedIn, Nesci separately added: “Salter Brothers stands out as one of Australia’s foremost global alternatives fund managers, specialising in property, equities, and credit.
“I look forward to assisting the firm build its brand presence, increase market share, and position the company as one of Australia’s leading global fund managers in alternative investments.”
Salter Brothers holds $4 billion in assets under management and has offices in Australia, Singapore, Japan, and the US.
Earlier this month, the firm announced the acquisition of the Bannisters portfolio, a collection of hotels located in NSW.
