Wang has been appointed a business development manager, institutional, and will focus on technology and data sales to institutional clients, particularly asset managers, platforms, and technology client segments.
He joins from Preqin, where he managed alternative assets data and analytics sales. Prior to this, he was with GlobalData Plc where he served as its business development manager professional services.
Wang also held senior roles at Nielsen and Euromonitor International, specialising in strategic consumer research.
Boyes described Wang’s expertise in data analytics and client relations as “instrumental” in enhancing Zenith’s institutional relationships.
“His experience with Preqin, in particular, brings valuable experience selling data and technology solutions into the funds management and institutional markets,” Boyes said.
Hope has been appointed to the newly created role of business development manager, with a focus on adviser solutions nationally. In his new role, he will support the growth of the Group’s advice tools, including Zenith Mosaic, Chant West’s Switching Tools and FE Analytics.
He joins from Morningstar, where he served as director, advice software solutions, overseeing business strategies for the adviser and licensee segments in Australia and New Zealand.
His previous experience includes business development roles with HUB24 and Innova Asset Management, as well as seven years with Macquarie Group in various account manager and business development manager positions.
Boyes emphasised the strategic importance of these appointments in strengthening Zenith’s relationships with institutional and adviser clients across Australia.
“Both Jim and Doug bring valuable expertise to their respective areas, and we are confident they will contribute significantly to our continued growth in 2025 and beyond,” he added.
Both Wang and Hope are based in Sydney and commenced their roles on 2 December.
They both report to the firm’s head of sales Glenn Boyes.
