Former Vanguard executive, Scott Lawrence, has joined Omega Global Investors as head of investment solutions.
Omega managing director George Vassos said Mr Lawrence’s skills are well suited to clients that intend to “tilt their focus away from off-the-shelf asset solutions”.
“Myself and the founding partners at Omega look forward to his timely contribution in helping our clients to apply some additional intelligent thinking to their investment needs.
“Scott brings strengths in the core disciplines of Australian and international equities and after tax investing,” he said.
Commenting on his appointment, Mr Lawrence said his experience in designing investment strategies has led him to one conclusion: “investors seek greater control and more focus on their individual requirements”.
“I am genuinely passionate about the practical nature of sitting down to solve a client’s needs,” Mr Lawrence said.
In addition to Vanguard, Mr Lawrence was also principal of his own investment consulting firm.
