Mr Brook has worked in the financial services industry for 40 years, and held a number of executive roles with companies such as StatePlus, MLC, Challenger Financial Services Group, Grant Thornton and Alinta Energy.
In 2013, Mr Brook joined Pillar Administration and overhauled its operating model, technology and member services before the company was bought by Mercer in December 2016.
“My experience at Pillar has made me highly attuned to the changing needs of investors and the way that technology can help deliver better outcomes,” Mr Brook said.
“Managed Accounts understands these shifting dynamics and is empowering investors with a suite of unconflicted and open architecture solutions.”
Managed Accounts Holdings chair Don Sharp said Mr Brook would be an asset to the business.
"Peter’s vast experience will prove a major asset to Managed Accounts as we embark on a range of new initiatives this year. His insights into technology, personal super and engagement will be particularly valuable,” he said.
