Centrepoint Alliance chief executive and managing director John de Zwart will exit the group with a replacement yet to be announced.

Centrepoint chairman Alan Fisher announced the move today, paying homage to Mr de Zwart’s leadership and contribution.

“Under John’s leadership, Centrepoint has been transformed into a leader in Australia’s financial advice industry, with a series of new strategic growth platforms performing well,” Mr Fisher said.

“Together with the support of a strong management team, John has led the way in championing a more professional, technologically enabled and, ultimately, a more client-centric way of delivering advice. As a result, Centrepoint is now a trusted partner to around 500 financial planning firms.”
