Vanguard said the four new ETFs will allow ETF investors to utilise an asset pool worth more than $7 billion since each ETF is a share class of a pre-existing Vanguard index fund.
Commenting on the development, Vanguard Australia’s head of product and marketing Evan Reedman said, “Vanguard’s Diversified Index funds have been a leading option for investors for some time, and greater accessibility to these strategies through ETF vehicles is a significant development for the Australian market.
“This will make investing a far more accessible and transparent option for many Australians, and ultimately help them achieve their financial goals.”
The addition of the new ETFs increases Vanguard’s ETF offering to 22 funds, the company said.
