AMP Capital Europe’s head of origination Simon Ellis commented on this acquisition, saying that “Leeds Bradford Airport is a highly attractive investment and a great fit for AMP Capital’s global infrastructure platform”.
Mr Ellis also said that the company believes in performance improvement by working with partner airlines, with Bridgepoint Leeds Airport serving fast-growing regions in the UK such as Yorkshire and Humber.
“AMP Capital’s heritage in transportation infrastructure investment and our experience of owning airports means we are well-placed to develop the exciting opportunities presented by this investment,” Mr Ellis added.
