The changes made to eApp Express were driven by direct feedback from advisers who were looking for greater flexibility and efficiency in industry tools.
"As advisers face a greater demand on their time, AIA Australia is looking to step in anywhere we can to help simplify processes and make life as easy as possible for both advisers and their clients," AIA head of retail Pina Sciarrone said.
"The changes we have made to the new eApp Express will dramatically reduce the time it takes to create and submit a policy quote and application, while at the same time providing the flexibility advisers need."
The original eApp was created to allow advisers to electronically lodge life insurance quotes and applications.
The eApp Express now has the option of signatureless applications to substantially cut down on the time and paperwork related to processing quotes and applications.
Other improvements include an expansion of the industry and occupation database plus multi-policy creation capability.
The new software is also designed to operate on a range of platforms and browsers including tablets, laptops, notebooks and ultrabooks.
"We're continually looking at how we can improve and enhance our products and services, a process which involves considerable consultation to ensure our offerings directly meet the ever changing needs of advisers, and assist them to run their businesses efficiently and effectively," Ms Sciarrone said.
