Trent Doughty has replaced Michael Parsons as Deutsche Bank's head of private wealth management for Australia and New Zealand.

Deutsche Bank has appointed Trent Doughty to head of private wealth management for Australia and New Zealand.

Doughty will work closely with chief executive for Australia and New Zealand Chum Darvall and the existing private wealth management team to expand the bank's private wealth management business in the region.

Doughty joined Deutsche Bank in Singapore last year and will relocate to Sydney, replacing Michael Parsons in the role.

"Deutsche Bank has a strong wealth management business in Australia and New Zealand and Trent's appointment ensures that we will further utilise our global capabilities to meet our local clients' needs," Darvall said.

"Trent's experience working in Australia, Japan, Hong Kong and most recently Singapore makes him well-suited to bring together both our offshore and onshore private wealth management products and platforms."

Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Doughty worked at Citigroup in Hong Kong and Singapore where he was a director in the investment advisory business.
