Count Financial's national mortgage aggregator arm has lost four staff in three months.

Finconnect, the national mortgage aggregator arm of dealer group Count Financial (Count), has lost a number of staff members since November 2009, according to information received by InvestorDaily.

The four finconnect staff said to have departed the group since November include national asset finance and leasing manager Graeme Porter, direct writer Carmel Cappelleri, finconnect general manager Tanya Sale and lending manager Andrea Tassis.

When contacted by InvestorDaily, Count confirmed that only three people had left finconnect including one member from its Melbourne office, which was prior to the departure of Sale, and one of its lending managers.

Sale and her team had previously been operating under the National Aggregation Group and joined Count in October 2006.

Sale's exit last month was also hot on the heels of Count chief executive Marianne Perkovic's resignation from the group in November 2009.

Perkovic approached Colonial First State and was hired as general manager distribution.

Count said no replacement for Perkovic or Sale had yet been appointed, but industry murmurs were that former Perpetual executive Eric Wang was among the potential candidates to take over from Perkovic.
