The former head of BT-owned dealer group Magnitude, Deborah Potts, has left her post to join ipac Financial Planning as its new national head of partnership and advice strategy.

In her new job at the Axa Australia-owned business she will be responsible for partnering with ipac's equity partners to help them expand and enhance their businesses.

She will report directly to financial planning general manager Libby Roy.

The group said Potts's appointment completed ipac Financial Planning's management restructure following the group making a number of senior hires last year, including the appointment of former AFG Financial Planning dealer principal Ross Nayler to the role of national head of sales.

The group also appointed four new general managers, with Spiros Christoforatos assuming the duties for New South Wales, Michael Gilmore for Victoria, Nick Brinkworth for Queensland and Tony Bottaro for Newcastle.
