The New South Wales central coast-based practice's principal financial planners, husband and wife team Tony and Kylie Davies, have been in the financial services industry since 1993 and have both been primarily self-employed advisers for the majority of that time.
Tony has spent time as a senior financial planner at Fortunity, while Kylie has headed up the advice division of Universal Financial Planning.
"Twenty 20 Capital Finance has experienced significant growth in recent times, including the acquisition of Olive Financial Services in January 2008," Matrix said.
The practice would move to a fee-for-service model and increase the level of support staff working in the practice in the coming year, it said.
Tony said: "Matrix has really differentiated itself to us from other dealer groups and particularly suits where we are in the process of taking the business.
"Matrix also has significant research depth, which is a further advantage to our business."
Meanwhile, the company has appointed Ross Marshall as an authorised representative at the Collins Financial Group practice in Toowong, Brisbane.
Marshall has been with the practice as a trainee adviser for almost two years.
His appointment will expand the planning team to five authorised representatives.
