Matrix launches software for advisers and paraplanners, and intends to release more for external dealer groups.

Dealer group Matrix Planning Solutions (Matrix) has launched new strategic modelling software to more than 90 of its advisers and paraplanners around Australia.

Building on the powerful Prospera modelling tool, the new Prospera Leadership Strategies software gives advisers the ability to quickly model and compare scenarios in every phase of the client's financial life.

"Where Prospera previously focused on modelling a client's wealth accumulation/debt reduction phases, Prospera Leadership Strategies now extends to model clients in transition to retirement, retirement and beyond," a joint statement from both companies said.

In future there will be greater focus on providing in-depth strategic advice to clients, and this new software gives Matrix advisers the advice platform they need to do exactly that, Prospera sales and strategy executive director Allison Dummett said.

The Prospera Leadership Strategies software enables advisers to enter client data just once, then model and save multiple alternate strategies, and compare them at a glance.

The software also produces a succinct key outcomes report for clients.

Matrix owns 100 per cent of Prospera and intends to release the software to selected external dealer groups as part of its future strategy.
