The FPA illustrates the advantages of professional financial advice through real-life stories.

The FPA has launched a new advertising campaign which highlights the benefits of obtaining professional financial advice.

The Value of Advice Campaign demonstrates the emotional and financial benefits of financial advice through the use of real-life examples of client experiences with FPA planners.

Case studies that feature in the campaign are accompanied by analysis showing the projected financial benefits of the advice provided, the projected value of advice received, and the costs.

"This campaign will encourage more Australians to seek the advice of a financial planner who is a member of the FPA," FPA chief executive Jo-Anne Bloch said.

These are difficult times for superannuation members and investors, which is why it is essential that Australians are able to access good advice from trusted professionals, Bloch said.

While volatile markets have demonstrated that professional financial advice has greatly assisted clients, only 30 per cent of Australians have a relationship with a financial planner, she said.

Promoting the value of advice remains one of the highest priorities that FPA members ask the association to address on their behalf.

The Value of Advice campaign includes print and online advertisements, a new consumer brochure and a refreshed website that will provide helpful resources for consumers.
