MLC dealer group Godfrey Pembroke has hired MLC sales state manager for New South Wales Tom Reddacliff, who will replace former general manager Mark Rantall.
Reddacliff will work closely with Godfrey Pembroke advisers to set strategies for the advice business moving forward, a group spokesperson said.
"Tom will continue to lead the group's very strong vision around transparency and fee for advice."
Reddacliff previously held the role of MLC Investments national manager, and in the corporate market represented Plum, MLC and JANA Implemented Consulting.
In May, Rantall was hired by MLC's parent company, the National Australia Bank (NAB), to lead the group's academy and has been caretaking in the Godfrey Pembroke role until a successor was found.
As dean of advice, Rantall will be focused on an enterprise-wide approach to developing capabilities and delivering best practice in terms of advice, the spokesperson said.
"The concept of advice is central to everything NAB/MLC provides to its customers and as a result, advice will be a key focus area for the academy," the spokesperson said.
