Asgard appoints two and promotes two as new regions are announced in a national sales restructure.

Asgard Wealth Solutions has created a new national sales structure and appointed four managers to support the accelerated growth strategy of its businesses.

Matthew Englund, previously Colonial First State's head of advice solutions, has been promoted to the role of northern area manager for New South Wales and Queensland.

The new changes will ensure that there is a good support network in place for advisers, particularly since the business has grown to twice the size over the last three years, Englund said.

As part of the new structure, Adrian De Silva will take up the role of southern area manager for South Australia, Victoria, Tasmania and Western Australia.

"The process we have undertaken at Asgard over the last few years has been about the continuation of the regionalisation of our adviser support teams or sales teams," Englund said.

"In this instance the new roles, both Adrian De Silva's and mine, and the splitting of the Victorian state into regions, is all about ensuring that we have the right people getting as close to our client base as possible".

De Silva, previously Asgard regional manager for South Australia and the Northern Territory, will be supported by two new regional managers; Jen Purnell and Rod Jackson.

Purnell, the current Asgard Victorian distribution manager for the past seven years, will take up the regional manager role for a new eastern Victoria region.

Rod Jackson, previously national manager for sales support, is now the regional manager for the new western Victoria and Tasmania region.

The changes reflect what Asgard calls a significant investment in Victoria and Tasmania as key opportunity areas for the company.
