Trust has added to its board and business development team.

The Trust Company has appointed a director to its board and hired a new head of business development.

Buildcorp co-owner and principal Josephine Sukkar will join the company's board of directors.

Sukkar's focus on marketing, business development, human resources and sustainability at the construction business would give her an excellent perspective and the skills to assist Trust Company in the implementation of its strategic plan, the company said.

She is actively engaged with a number of committees and is a non-executive director of not-for-profit female-led organisation Young Women's Christian Association NSW, where she has an active fundraising role.

As a consequence, she will be well placed to help Trust Company develop its philanthropic offering and community focus, and also provide valuable support for its marketing and sales endeavours.

Meanwhile, Wendy Brooks has also joined Trust Company in a national role as head of business development personal services after an extensive career in marketing, philanthropy and management in the not-for-profit and business sectors.

Among other roles, Brooks held leadership positions including executive director of the Women's Hospital Foundation and director of marketing and advancement for the University of Melbourne's faculty of medicine.
