Following the acquisition of Balanced Equity Management earlier this year, the companies have been working together to build an Australian equity fund that will appeal to both retail and institutional investors.
The new fund invests in Australian companies with sustainable earnings and uses a fundamental value approach and internal bottom-up analysis. The fund considers environmental, social and governance factors and after-tax outcomes for investors.
"The fund aims to provide long-term capital growth and income through investment in shares in leading Australian companies," Balanced Equity Management managing director Andrew Sisson said.
